Project Overview
Client: Georgia Conservancy
Industry: Environmental advocacy group
Timeline: 10 weeks (2025)
My Role: Project manager
The Georgia Conservancy is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Georgia's natural environment through conservation, advocacy, and education. A key focus for this project was the Blake Plateau, an underwater region off the southeastern U.S. coast that hosts the world's largest deep-water coral reef covering over 6.4 million acres, it is vital for marine biodiversity. Through partnerships with institutions like SCAD, the Conservancy works to raise awareness and engage the public in protecting this unique ecosystem, blending traditional conservation values with innovative approaches.

Brands like people need regular check ups. This was a design led innovation and co-creation sprint. In 10 weeks of rigorous research, activities and analysis, we offered short, medium and long term solutions co-created with key stakeholders. The project offers all the solutions in a simple tool kit paired with a clear blueprint and a roadmap with estimated budgets and return on investment.

Brand Diagnosis and Co-creation Workshop
The co-creation workshop enabled us to explore creative solutions for The Blake’s Plateau using North Stars, Divergent Thinking, TRIZ and 15% Solutions. Through these exercises, we gained insight into how the Georgia Conservancy team envisions their tools and processes, helping us build on their ideas to develop strategies that enhance the value and strengthen its community presence of The Blake Plateau.

Design Brief for an AR/VR Experience - Providing guidelines to craft a design brief for an AR/VR experience aimed at raising awareness of the Blake Plateau. The experience should highlight the plateau’s ecological value in an engaging, positive way, educating the public and inspiring support. We recommend setting a goal of 1 million digital interactions and include key deliverables like a VR experience, social media content, and a press kit to maximize reach and engagement.
